Exploring human experiences through layers of life

Perspective is shaped by our individual experiences. My work explores how personal histories, particularly those of women, influence the way we perceive and create art. I examine how different people might experience the mundane, considering how gendered expectations shape artistic representation and cultural memory.

Through experimentation with wood, monoprints, ceramics, and mostly oil paint, I investigate the ways women’s roles in art have been both celebrated and overlooked. By painting primarily female subjects through a feminist lens, my practice reflects on the visibility and agency of women in art history and contemporary society. I seek to highlight the complexities of perception, encouraging viewers to reconsider how narratives of gender and identity are constructed and challenged in visual culture.
